I’m going about, inviting anyone and everyone, to participate in the greatest show in Indy Comics: Small Press Idol 2008. Last year, over 100 teams competed for the chance to be published, and dozens of the top projects have been appearing in Mysterious Visions Anthology. 3 of the other top projects have been picked up by 3rd party publishers, and a couple others are also now with the Dimestore Imprint. This year, we’re upping the ante. With a very small entry free, we’re going to have a CASH PRIZE for the winner, as well as a publishing deal. Sounds interesting? Anyone who is not currently being published by a “name” company, who is not making a living making comics, is eligible. So if you have a webcomic you’d like to rework a bit into a comic…entering will grab you lots of new eyes on your work. Self published issues haven’t been selling great? Kick it up a notch, and see how it stacks up in the spotlight. The Guidelines for this year’s contest are here: http://www.dimestoreproductions.com/IDOL08/index.h tm
If you can pass this message forward to anyone, anywhere, we can blow the lid off this thing! |

I'm attempting to kick-start Savage Disassembly, hope you'll come around and add your input once again! Also, consider using the "savage disassembly" tag on comic space! |

We are circle jerk buddies now! Lend a hand and I'll do the same.
I Am A Rocket Builder often makes me feel ashamed of my own comics. |

Yes, "Savage Disassembly" was actually my idea to begin with. Was it short lived? We did critiques for about eight months. |

Another great comic I've discovered through this ComicSpace thing. Rather disappointed that I haven't come across Rocket Builder before. Think your artwork's fantastic, and love the five concurrent storylines idea. |
