Hello and welcome to The Maineland...In essence the story of my lifelong adventures in search for my American dream. Ever since I was a little kid I have always wanted to make a living writing,drawing, and creating a comic. It seems I have spent my life pursuing this dream yet haven't quite made a living doing so...Even so It's a compulsive habit I can't kick and I refuse to go into any kind of art rehab!! So I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy creating...and will continue to do so till I die and they bury me or burn me, either way I'll be holding my pencils and pens!

Curtis the Landlobster is more or less the star of the comic...he's a complex figmentation from my mind, who I pulled out of my skull to help me create the strip. He's was originally created when I was in college back in 1996 along with a small group of other character creatures you'll all meet later on. Over the past few years he's been with me on my travels...From my time in Venice beach with the bungalow boys to my adventure back to Maine and back again.
