Cherie (aka "Cher") Donovan is a professional comic book writer and colourist, currently working with Orang Utan Comics (also Studios) and Markosia.

Cherie debuts as a writer in Project Raven, a comic that centers around a teenage girl genetically altered and trained to be a living weapon who finds herself caught in a deep-bedded government conspiracy and must reveal it to the world to win her freedom. The plot asks us exactly what it is that makes us human, and brings us face to face with our inner demons.



A six page prequel to the main story arc is featured in Eleventh Hour #2, penciled by newcomer Scott Larson and inked by Ian Sharman, followed early next year by an anthology of prequels based within the Project Raven timeline and universe, written and illustrated by guest creators.

The preview will be available to view here in a few months, after initial sales, and shall be reprinted in full colour in the anthology next year.

As a colourist, Cherie has worked on Heretic for Markosia as part of Orang Utan Studios, and Contraband, published by Slave Labour.
Currently, she is working on Young Gods, a forthcoming project from Orang Utan Comics, written by Ian Sharman with pencils and inks from Eziquel Pineda, and several other titles from Markosia.
