Hello there, and welcome to the official CHIKARA ComicSpace page.

CHIKARA is an independent-wrestling promotion based out of Pennsylvania, working in many different styles, including the Lucha Libre style popularized in Mexcio.

While we're not comics, per se, we've got plenty in common with comics. Most of our wrestlers run around in masks, capes, and spandex with secret identities like Jigsaw, Delirious, UltraMantis Black and El Hijo Del Ice Cream. Some of our wrestlers are a tad on the diabolical side, and want to take over the world - or at the very least, CHIKARA. These villains (or RUDOS as we call them) are often meet and turned back by upstanding heroes (Technicos in CHIKARA speak) in epic battles of mind and muscle.

We run live shows from February thru November of every year, and sell DVDs of our shows at SmartMarkVideo.com We also sell merchandise like shirts, books, posters and more at CHIKARAPRO.com

We host a FREE weekly show called "CHIKARA Podcast-A-Go-Go" which you can find at CHIKARAPodcast.com as well as on the ever-popular YouTube.

that's swesome! have hopes of moving to philly and now chikaka gives me one more reason to think philly is the best place ever!
my buddy eric lives in philly he's a wrestler too goes by the name of "smoke" you ever heard of him?
love that you guy have so many masked guys in the ranks...can't get enough of the lucha.
