El Panter Returns to CHIKARA at Aniversario? in Hellertown!

Ahoy there, CHIKARA fans! Welcome back to what promises to be another crazy week here at the CHIKARA offices. We're now less than 3 weeks away from our 5th anniversary shows - Aniversario? in Hellertown, PA on Saturday, May 26th and Aniversario! in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 27th and we're already off to to a busy start as we can now officially confirm that Lucha Libre legend and CMLL star El Pantera will be returning to CHIKARA for the Aniversario weekend! And on top of that, we can tell you that his first match back will take place in Hellertown as he teams with his protege Lince Dorado to take on the team of Claudio Castagnoli and "Sweet N' Sour" Larry Sweeney!

Not only does this match pit two of the best from Mexico against two of CHIKARA's top talents, but it also marks Claudio Castagnoli's first show under the control of Chris Hero, which is why he has been paired with Larry Sweeney. When speaking to Hero during the negotiations (Claudio is no longer allowed to sign his own matches, apparently) we were told that Hero chose Sweeney because he "will keep the reigns tight on Claudio while I'm busy beating the snot of Mike Quackenbush." How will Claudio react to being under Hero's thumb once again ? Will he and Sweeney be able to work as a team long enough to score the win for CHIKARA in this international dream match ?

All those questions will be answered on Saturday night, May 26th in Hellertown, PA as CHIKARA closes out year five with Aniversario? As always, tickets are just $15 at the door and everything gets started at 7PM for a 7:30 belltime. We've still got at least 4 more matches to be announced in the next few weeks, but until then, check out what has already been signed for this big show:
