Standard Bio

Like many comic book fans, I think I have what it takes to tell some great stories. Since I can't draw and my coloring skills aren't worth much at all, that makes me a writer. I used to teach high school history, but I found it to be too political and beauracratic for my likes so when my wife had triplets we decided I would be the stay at home parent. Three babies full-time means that I don't get to do much of anything for myself, especially writing.


What I've Writen

First and foremost, I've yet to get a paying assignment, which isn't surprising since I've only seriously entertained this notion of writing comics for little over a year. What I have done in that time is write my own blog about comics and I have written reviews, interviews, convention coverage, and a weekly column for a few websites. I can honestly say I have had 99% positive experiences with everyone I've ever dealt with.

In addition to the above work I am working on my own stories and trying harder to improve my skills and develop a style that is my own (if such a thing exists). Strangely enough not one of the stories I am working on is a superhero story, but I am sure that will come as soon as I get some of my current ideas on to paper (or pixel....who actually still writes on paper anymore?)
