The wager Templesmith vs. cIndyCenter.com

Okay so the truth is out... Yes it is true Ben Templesmith and I had a friendly wager. I have to admit that I have accused Ben of living the Rockstar life and being an all around fun guy. Ben then stated the fact that cIndyCenter.com is also known for being party people. After few zombie races, and several shots of tequila (without the worm)... Ben suggested that I put my money were my mouth is; and offered a wager. He said that he'd complete the first Arc of Wormwood Gentelman Corpse, and publish the trade before we could finish editing and posting the podcast interview with him. Okay, so... errr... he won, and not only did he win he even did an extra issue (#0). So what did Ben win??? cIndyCenter.com has agreed to promote the release of the TPB by advertising on the backcover of the program for the S.P.A.C.E convention in Ohio (April 21 and 22, 2007 at the Aladdin Shrine Complex in Columbus OH). The print run on the program is very limited, so I encourage everyone to attend the Ohio conference to get a piece of history.

I want to formally apologize to Ben, his lovely wife, his family, and the fine people at IDW publishers. I also warn others that wagers and tequila do not match.

The amazing and very talented Jim Lujan visited with cIndyCenter.com. Please check-out his stellar work on the Velvetgoat website. On the Fleen.com, Alison Cooke posted a very flattering article... which included the following comments: "Jim Luian’s comics are connected and carry a plot-line full of drug-smuggling and transvestites. His comics stood out to me because I enjoyed his style and colorful characters". Please listen to the interview with Jim Lujan (please note that this interview contains mature language).

Jim has been featured in several film fests (Spike and Mike, No-Dance, Conduitfest) and on local TV in Los Angeles (LATV, Jim Lujan Cartoons). His films include “Mama I’m a Thug”, “Up In My Grill”, “Securityman”, “3 Little Homies’ , and “Chicken n Cigarettes”, among others. He is also featured as an artist on Blastro.Com, FanboyRadio.com, VelvetGoat.com and of course, JimLujan.com. Current projects include SUNSHINE and the CANDYMAN, an animated trucker short, TV pitch.

Mark Millar has written some of the most successful English-language comics of the last few years and has, for six years running, been the best-selling British writer working in America. His current projects are Ultimates 2 with artist Bryan Hitch and Marvel Civil War with artist Steve McNiven. Civil War has been Marvel's best-selling series in over a decade and was featured on everything from CNN to MTV in June 2006 for the public unmasking of Spider-Man.

Millar was born in Coatbridge, Scotland, on December 24th, 1969. He lives with his wife, Gillian, his small daughter, Emily, and a menagerie of pets including two rabbits, two guinea pigs, a hamster and two goldfish. Thanks for the comments on my Walking Evil Dead piece. I just know in my heart of hearts that Rick is getting a chainsaw hand for the 50th issue, but I don't want to wait. So I made it happen!
