Update: I just launched my first webcomic: The Chess Comic!!!Hello, my name is Scott Tingley, the owner / administrator / creator of the education / comic website called comicsintheclassroom.net. I am an early years teacher in the New Brunswick (Canada) public school system and I am hoping that my knowledge of differentiated learning and my love of comics will aid teachers, parents and librarians in the motivating and teaching of the children in their lives. Power Mariah vs Jack Hammer
This is the 2nd comic I had a chance to work on while the kids in the comic camp I was running were working. This stuff takes so long to do! The coloring is basic, but I am learning.
The two characters are my two kids.

Rough comics - works in progress
These are some comics I'm working on - rough drafts. The Xmas one was created as part of a middle school workshop (on chart paper). I took a photo of it and colored it using Gimp. I like the "Predator Present" sent by her arch nemesis.

Power Mariah vs The Robot
This is a comic I did for a comic workshop I gave. It isn't great, but I was trying to model the things that I was teaching. I colored it using Gimp. This is the first time I have used any kind of photoshop program.

Power Baby Boils An Egg
This is just a thing I did as an example for the comic creating workshops I have been doing for kids.
The second picture is where the idea behind PB came from. I was doodling with my daughter (she was 2) and I was explaining where she came from :)
