Thank you very much!
I'm intrigued by CITY OF FIRE. Being a disabled Army vet, I am seriously looking forward to this! HOOAH!

You should get involved with us on furure projects. We are in partnership with Wounded Warrior Project and are all about the vets, man.

Ernie and I were medics, and our yell was pretty gay... OOSHA!
LOL

Hey! I was a medic, too! SGT Mac--that was me. hahaha
I'd love to get involved. If I were invited, I'd be there. ^_^

Because of my strict catholic upbrining, I was semi-pacifistic yet also very patriotic... an odd mix for a soldier. Though I scored higher than anyone on the ASVAB that day, or that month, in fact, I ticked off my recruiter by turninng down everything she offered me, from commanche school tanker school, and picked to be "lowly" combat medic.

Nothing wrong with that!
Yeah, similar story here: son of a minister, wanted to heal instead of kill, turned down "the good MOSes." Enjoyed the heck out of my time in, fought my medical discharge. In fact, my ETS date was in 2008. 14 years in and I got kicked to the curb. *sigh*

I made it through for my eight, 1990-1998, and have thought about going back in... well, once I stop being a lard ass. LOL

BWAHAHAHAHA! I'm right there with ya, man!
Since my injury, I can put on pounds simply by walking past the cookie aisle at the grocery store!

My kids make it hell for me by having so much junk food, and then I am up drawing and such until Zero-dark-thirty in the morning, and you know how the late night munchies work... F-ing kids. LOL

HA!
I blame Funyuns for my obesity! DARN YOU, FUNYUNS!!

D

Remove[ Posted by cityoffire on Dec 28th, 2006 2:17 PM ]...

I can state that I have never had a Funyun. My fall lies with corn chips & salsa and Pringles. Oh, and those G-damned snack cakes they always get.

Funyuns are the devil! Resist them--FLEE FROM THEM! hahaha

Ok... I shall avoid them, then. LOL

I am a wordsmith. If I draw it, no one will buy it. hahaha

Looks very interesting. I am a huge Poe fan... trecked across the country to visit all his haunts, as well as where he died. I am from Virginia, and he was a huge influence on me.

You should listen to Cohen's Ghost, just go to http://www.myspace.com/cohensghost to hear a couple of the songs from the first album... The CD's available at Amazon and other online stores, as well as on iTunes. I go by the name Cohen's Ghost for my music. My first CD was called "Songs of Lingering Shades" and the song "Shoreline" was inspired by growing up on Mr Poe and the local stories along the coastal waters of Virginia and the Carolinas.
