Header: Looking For New Writers
Bulletin: Hey, it's that time again at The Comic Book Bin, where we need more writers to keep up with our growth.

What makes a good Comic Book Bin writer? A lot of things. The first, is a desire to inform objectively. You'll notice that there aren't easy "shortcuts" at the Bin, like gossip or mudracking columns. We inform fairly and stay above the fray.

The Bin is an open comic book site. We've had our action figure columns since the day one. We added our movie, gaming, books and fan film sections. By the way, we've been doing movie reviews way before the other comic book sites started doing them. And we don't just focus comic book movies and animation. We cover film diligently.

Writing for The Comic Book Bin beats having a personal blog. It's hard to make a difference and be heard when everyday hundreds of new blogs about comics and entertainment start. With The Bin, a newcomer has direct access to built in audience and industry contacts. Concentrate on writing, instead of finding people who will talk about you. You'll enjoy the benefits of working with a seasoned team and can make a name for yourself, growing at your own pace.

There are so many original articles published at The Comic Book Bin, that unlike a blog, failing to update for a few days won't hurt you. That means that if you're in a time crunch because of personal constraints, you can take a break without losing any momentum. You can't have a successful blog if you take breaks.

The Comic Book Bin is also independent. We are not forced to "push" specific projects for some publishers. We can express our own opinions on topics fairly and objectively.

The process to join the Comic Book Bin is simple. We want to see a sample article or review about a current topic. If we like it, we'll set you up with your own posting account and email. You'll be handed a 16-page writing guide that covers everything, so you know how to be a pro from the get go.

Find out more here about being a staff writer or contact me directly through my comicspace account to submit your first sample article.

Cheers

Hervé, the publisher.
