My Books:Squares That Touch:-Peter Palmiotti and I are working on a graphic novel called Squares That Touch. Currently in production. Countdown to 2012: The End of the World as We Know It-Taking a cross section of theories past and present, injecting new information and a modern perspective, the mystery of December 21st 2012 is broken down in this new book from Sterling & Ross Publishers. Bookstores and Amazon April/May 2008. Psychosis! #1-Co-created and co-laidout (with Rammer Martinez) and scripted the 8-page comic Desperate Skins for GuildWorksProductions' horror anthology. Illustrated by Rammer Martinez and inked by Peter Palmiotti. Comicbook Artists Guild Anthology #4-The CAG anthology printed an 8-page comic I did with Rammer Martinez. Comic Laudromat: Sampler '06-An ashcan Rammer Martinez and I did that included Tile Trinity and a 4-page untitled comic about the Mohammed caricatures. This little ashcan that could had a great write up in Comic Buyer's Guide. The Mind's Overflow-An out-of-print anthology I published with Rammer. Featuring Jeff Plotkin (Happy Freak Show), Philip Clark (Quantum: Rock of Ages), Christian Read (Star Wars Tales, The Watch), Travis Fox (Foxymoron), Mary Wiebe, Miguel Ortega, Matt Huynh (STiKMAN), Howard Tuckey, Billy Horn, Matthew Scott Carr and a cover by painter Joe Kelly. This was our first venture into comics publishing and was on display at the Baltimore Museum of Art as part of the Cram Sessions: 02 Dark Matter exhibit. About Me:NY based writer. I've been reading comics for as long as I can remember and got into the creative end of the industry a few years back. Rammer and I have spent the last few years exploring the limits of page layouts and sequential art in general. I hope to continue trying new things and to tell the best damn story I can. RE: Join the 2008 Comic Book Novice Bus Tour: NY to SanDiego
Man, that sounds awesome -- good luck with it. Ten years ago, I would have been really gung ho about doing something like that, but at that time, I had a full time job. Now, I'm freelancing full time, and my wife wouldn't have it (nor my workload). See you in San Diego. If you're going to be there, perhaps see you at NYCC or MoCCA Art Fest. |

John, I checked out your Extinction Blog and I think you're doing a fantastic, albeit unfortunately necessary, service. Would you consider posting a link to the Environmental Action : Tell Coke to Help Save the Polar Bear database in an upcoming post? That'd really help get the message out there.

Happy New Year to you as well! I think you're right. I think '07 is going to be fantastic. ...Just like with anything else, it's what you make of it. So we just have to make it better and better year after year.
Warm wishes, Alan |
