New publication offers fan-friendly attitude, modern topics and renewed dedication to comics.

San Diego, CA January 23, 2008 – Comics Media Partners, in association with the Comic Geek Speak podcast and publisher Ape Entertainment, are proud to announce the launch of Comics NOW! Magazine. This new quarterly publication is dedicated to the popularity of modern comics, graphic novels and web comics. Offering a unique “fan-to-fan” perspective, new attitude, and commitment to quality, Comics NOW! Magazine hopes to satisfy die hard comic fans' needs for entertainment and in-depth detail in the world of comics. The full-color, 96-page square bound premier issue hits store shelves this week with a cover price of $5.99.

Comics NOW! Magazine is dedicated to becoming one of the leading publication for comic book fans and the comic book industry. To achieve that goal, they will strive to provide fair and equal coverage to all segments of the comic book marketplace and promote the readability and fun of comic books. “We want to bring the fun back into comics by supplying our readers with a positive look at the industry. Our intent is to provide honest, detailed information on comic books and related items in an entertaining, informative and reader-friendly manner,” said co-publisher Brent E. Erwin

Designed to be reader friendly and to appeal to comic book fans, Comics NOW! Magazine is standard comic size, square bound, and full-color. Featuring in-depth articles, creator interviews and ongoing columns, each issue promises to deliver to comic fans the excitement and coverage they’ve been missing. “For years I have felt that magazines covering new comics were lacking something in terms of content and depth. With Comics NOW! Magazine we set out to provide fans with an alternative. Our magazine will focus on current and recent comics and feature more substantial and in-depth articles. We want Comics NOW! Magazine to be a celebration of comics,” said Editor-In-Chief Bryan Deemer.

The premier issue of Comics NOW! Magazine arrives in comic shops on January 23rd, 2008. The second issue will follow at the end of February and officially launch the quarterly publishing schedule.

Comics Media Partners was founded in 2007 to provide comics fans with an entertaining, informative and fan-friendly magazine on the topic of comic books. The magazine offers a wide range of articles and columns designed to appeal to comic book consumers.
