Okay, boy...where to start. I guess at the beginning (We'll skip the world creation part)
Early comic ventures- I began collecting comics in ernest around 1966/67. I had bought a few here and there over the years (not that many years, i was pretty young) but it was after going to a friend's house after school and looking through some of his several hundred comics that I decided that comics were going to be a major thing for me.
So it was off to the pharmacy for me (I had my prescription to fill...Comics.
The first comic I bought to start my new obsession was Avengers #54. That book was the beginning of a lifelong friendship with comics.
I've been collecting comics since that day (I still have that Avengers #54) though I have to admit I've had many dry periods (mostly from the mid eighties to the late nineties) where I bought very few new books. I don't think though that there has ever been a time that i haven't bought at least two books in a month, just to keep up a little about what was going on in the industry.
Now I'm back in full swing (actually have been for like seven years now) and read about fifteen titles a month. I still buy back issues at the shows on a regular basis and am not afraid to try new books. there's lots more to add so I'll get to it over the next few days. Right now I'm watching "I Am Omega" on the Sci-Fi Channel.





Currently reading: Flash, Avengers, Exiles, Amazing Spiderman, Green Lantern, The Walking Dead, Vigilante, Sgt. Rock, Batman, Superman, The Phantom, Tarot, and a couple others off and on.
