I have three writing samples available for professionally-related requests. Send an email to crestmere@gmail.com.

I have all three files in .doc format but I am in the process of converting them to PDF. Unless otherwise requested, I will send the PDF version.

1. Penda, Queen of the Jungle #1.
Assignment for Work Horse Comics.
Project Status: Script completed. Script sent to editor for a new round of notes and to critique artist interest.
Penda, Queen of the Jungle is a postcolonial take on the familiar "Jungle Queen" mythos. The series not only features the thrilling adventures of an African Jungle Queen, it deals with them against the height of European colonialism in Africa.

2. Spirits
Short Story for IK Comics.
Project Status: Approved by Editor. Artist on story.
A ten page Western/horror story about cowboys, vampires, whiskey and masculinity.

3. Tugo and Lirleen #1
Project Status: In Paul's art queue. Script was approved.
Comic book script co-written with Paul Houston (http://www.renderwrx.net/)
In the near future, a young man on the run from the police takes refuge in a forest outside a chemical plant with two "freaks."

Expect more writing samples in the future.

I should have some screenwriting samples soon. I just felt that one short screenplay wasn't cinematic enough, I may turn it in to a stage play. The other one I need to tinker with too.
