"Ohio's freshest and funniest new creature comic."

www.crittersonline.org

Now listed in finer webcomic directories everywhere!

CrittersOnline is the cyber home of my cute creature comic strip Critters™. Set in Tintoonati, a sleepy little river town in southwest Ohio, Critters™ is about school, love and life in general through the eyes of a few furry members of the 20-something generation. New strips will show near the end (or very beginning) of the month. CrittersOnline is a little more laid-back affair than other web-based comics, but please keep in mind that I’m not doing this for (currently) much money – hint, hint, syndicators! I’m doing this for fun and to vent creative energies. As you may imagine, production of artwork right now is limited, due to other demands of my time. As it is right now, I'm trying - TRYING - to up production to at least two or more strips a month. However, free time remains the bugaboo. Art production will vary from time to time as conditions warrant, so stay tooned for any and all new stuff that appears.

Like many works, Critters™ has humble beginnings. Most of the cast were created out of classroom boredom way back in late 1988, when I was a senior in high school. Nothing was done with them, however, until two years later, when I brought them back from memory and drew them into strip form for the first time. At that time I had no plans for the fledgling strip (other than to maybe feature it in the university's student newspaper), but I had my people copyrighted in 1991 anyway, just as a precaution. In 1992, Critters™ made its first (general) public debut, when it was published in Northside's community newspaper. Others would follow in time. In 1993, the cast had grown to the point that it had become necessary to apply for a second copyright, which I took out to cover the new additions. But by the time I was taking out my second copyright, Critters™ had gradually grown from being just a time-killing hobby to a serious, full-time potential source of income. In the years since, Critters™ has evolved and matured - both in content and quality - into the form you see today. It was the result of countless hours of repetition, of outside influences, and the assistance of many great and wonderful people, of whom I could never thank enough.

So come on in, won't you? Somebody should. Oh, and feel free to leave a comment or two so I know you were there. Thanks! :)
