from my website biography:

Brian J. Crowley was born in Naples and spent five years in Tallahassee before moving to South Florida in 1985.

He graduated in 2001 from Ringling School of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art in the Department of Illustration.

During his time at Ringling, he taught art with the Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota and continued to teach art after completing school with the Norton Museum of Art's PACE program until 2003.

In 2004 he left his hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida and drove a U-Haul filled with everything he holds dear to Chicago to further pursue his career goals.

His paintings have been shown at Ringling School of Art and Design, The Education Network, Northwestern University, The Armory Art Center and his grandmother's house.

Crowley's freelance clients have included Adelphia Cable, Manga Graphix, The South Florida Times, Closer Magazine, On Top Media, Arriviste Press, Virtual Wingman and others.

Crowley currently lives in downtown Chicago, and works as Staff Letterer for Devil's Due Publishing.
