I'm a long time comic book fan who grew up on Marvel Comics but like ALL kinds of good comics. I also am an owner of Cold Cut Comics Distribution and used to be the submissions editor, so I've seen a LOT of good and bad comic books over the years.

I also co-founded the Grand Comic-Book Database which is an all volunteer effort to build a searchable database of creator credits for every comic book ever published.

Currently I am working on a history of the early days of the comic book direct market and fandom, from 1970 to 1985. So, if you were active as a retailer, publisher, distributor, or fan in those days, I would love to hear your story.

You are a great guy. You've been a steady champion of comics for years. Kudos!
If you want any imput on your book on the direct market, Lee's Comics (founded in 1982)would be glad to contribute.

Yes, I'd love your input. Do you have a history of Lee's already written out? I'd love to read it. I just realized I never heard what your involvment was with comics before Lee's. You always had good ideas about the current situation.
