Hiya, I'm an amateur comic art penciller/inker, and sometimes letterer.

I occasionally work on projects with small press groups or individuals. Generally, I get teamed up with a writer, and do the drawing/inking & lettering. I'll sometimes also solicit commissions, specifically for those who want to have a page or more of script illustrated as a comic page. I also like to commission or collect artwork from others.

At some point I'd love to do some inking on someone else's pencils.

I've been a comic fan since about 1977 (The start of my 'golden age' for superhero comics), and while sporadic, still read some to this day. These days my favorites are generally trades & OGNs.

Currently, I'm in the midst of working with frequent writing partner Samuel Kienbaum on our baseball comic project, The Season .
If we finish enough of it, we plan to print it as a graphic novel.

I'm also going to be continuing Clusterfuque!, a story I started working on in 1998 with writer Jennifer Trujillo. We've recently come back around to this project, and it will continue as well!

The Season

The Season is an in-progress graphic novel about the 1974 season of the Oxford Pilots, a fictional Class AA minor-league baseball team from Oxford, Mississippi, by Samuel Kienbaum and Chris Kohler. Issue #1 is now complete! 27 pages total.

Heh! Yep, I enjoyed all 8 issues of it back in the mid-80's when I was in high school... I kind of adopted him as my comic mascot and used to draw little dalgoda heads on restaurant napkins and the like when I would go out. Hardly anyone remembers him! :)
