Illustrated Ape
My prose story '...for all the little piggies' with macabre illustrations from sick puppy Jon Ridley will be out in the winter Illustrated Ape magazine. The opening line?
Exploding the pigs was kind of obvious. Certain ideas become inevitable after a while. Dressing them up first…that had never sat right with Stuart.

Zarjaz
Issue 6 of the mighty zine will be available in October featuring the shocking double sized conclusion of Kar-Lin's Last Summer. The cake scene at the start is probably my favourite of everything I've ever done. And there's no reason to stop buying Z just because Kar-Lin's had his chips. Issue 7 sees part 1 of my Indigo Prime story The Second Coming; psychedelic fetishistic body horror, arty techno babble and celebrity lampoon; just the way you like it.

Poland
Sadly the B5 anthology isn't happening so there will be no Polish language version of The Winter Fountain. Sob. However the lovely Karol Wisniewski is putting together a book of hip young sexy british artists and somehow I've blagged my way in. This darned attractive book is due Spring 2009 available in Polish and English versions. I'm currently working on my contribution tentatively titled Pop Life vs Bad Disco.

Best Comic Art Now!
Brit comic legend Dez Skinn has put together the rather fine coffee table friendly collection Comic Art Now showcasing some of the best in contemporary sequential art. It features 'Love Story No.1' what was writ by me and drawn by the brilliant Cosmo White.

Still available...
The last of the print runs have nearly gone but there are still a few HDKD!, Frequent Flyers (softcover), True Romance Comix 1 and 2 and Wrong Songs left. Call it two for a fiver? A bargin even in these troubled times.
