UNSCREWED! UPDATE - NEW AUCTIONS AND UNSCREWED! NEWS -

For Immediate Release

Unscrewed! (www.unscrewedcomic.com), the collection of creators, publishers, retailers, and fans which banded together at the beginning of the year to take on an immoral and unethical publisher/convention promoter and provide financial assistance to those victimized by his company, is pleased to announce that distribution of the funds begun.

We would also like to take this time to announce that Unscrewed! has grown from its humble origins to encompass all creator rights. Anywhere a creator is taken advantage of, Unscrewed! will be there to help them out.

To date the monies raised total approximately $3500, we have assisted some of those who were affected with their court costs, and others to maintain quality of life in the face of senseless, reprehensible actions by an individual who believed the term “freelance” meant “free work.”

Any and all who have been cheated by Rick Olney, Tightlip Entertainment or their holdings, please contact Tom Stilwell with your story, and provide verification of your dealings; either contracts, e-mails, etc. to have your case assessed by the disbursement committee. The fifth wave of auctions has begun, with a host of new one-of-a-kind items such as: Identity Crisis #1 plus the script autographed by author Brad Meltzer. The book that started it all, which led to the (re)birth of the multiverse, the issue contains the “photo-negative” variant cover and the script which is signed by Meltzerer. Starting bid $40

Also on the block, four pages of “Singularity 7” original art by Ben Templesmith. Singularity 7 marks Templesmith’s first project as both author and artist, this auction is the first time any of the artwork has ever been offered. Starting bid $50. (each) And a script from an episode of the Teen Titans cartoon signed by writer Dwayne McDuffie. Starting Bid $50
