I've been in the comics industry for two decades now, despite my youthful glow and sunny disposition. I write and draw for Archie Comics, doing lots of stories, fashion pages, covers , etc. The books I work on primarily are B&V Spectacular and Veronica. I also hop around from Archie & Friends to digest books too. Over the years I think I've worked on almost every title. Not one to put all my eggs in one basket, I've also worked for Felix the Cat Productions, Marvel Comics, Mattel, Golden Books, Disney Adventures and Harpercollins. I was born and raised in Vermont, land of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Phish and civil unions! I'm a graduate of the legendary Joe Kubert School, where I also taught for five years . It's nice to meet an Archie creator, Dan! (If you can call this "meeting") I've only recently been picking up Archie and the B&V Double Digest some, so I haven't seen any of your work yet. But the more I read, the more I recall the many fun times as a kid reading Archie comics. And it makes me want to read more, and write them as well! |
