Jeffery is one of the original Scryptic Studios co-founders, and current Scryptic webmaster (and avid researchologist). He has worked as a hired wordslinger for Jim Valentino's Task Force 1 for the Shadowline imprint at Image Comics as well as freelancing for a couple video game to comic book adaptations. His screenplays have made the second round at the Austin Film Festival, been among the top 6% at the Nicholl Fellowship, received an honorable mention (top 25) at the "A Feeding Frenzy" screenwriting contest, finished in the top 100 at the Red Inkworks contest, and landed among the top 25% at the Screenwriting Expo contest. He currently writes and letters the long-running weekly online comic, Brat-halla (following the Norse gods during their elementary school days), which ran for a few years at Kevin Smith's MoviePoopShoot.com (and later, QuickStopEntertainment.com) and is currently hosted over at Graphic Smash. For two years, he and Brat-halla artist Seth Damoose also worked on the online comic Spook'd (classic movie monsters spoofing reality TV). Jeff also works on the humor advice column, The Creative Adviser. Feel free to check out his blog at the Dark-n-Dam'd website and be sure to check out some of the comics he's written in the Comic Gallery here.

Fans of Brat-halla are always welcome here. Glad you're enjoying the comic. And if you're a fan of swords & sorcery, espionage, kung fu flicks, space pirates, post apocalyptic futures, gothic supernatural investigation, westerns, military missions, steampunk, mutants, giant robot battles, and lots more... keep an eye out for mine and Seth's new webcomic (probably starting in February). |
