New York Con is coming up fast. As I write this I realize I only have 150 days to get a portfolio prepared and ready. With the kids in school I finally have time again to pursue my first passion - art. I've always dreamed of working in comics but I've never put my work out there. This is where I shall start. I will post as I prepare the sample work. I don't know what to expect from New York, but I want to teach my kids to follow their dreams. So I need to lead by example.
If you stop by and look I thank you. Any comments or critiques are welcome and would be appreciated beyond measure.

Online Contests
Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the topic for the first contest submission. The second submission is for a Star Trek themed illustration. The Wrath of Khan was the best of the Trek films in my opinion and the subject of my entry.

Just creating a display of some of my better sketchbook entries. Most sketches done with a simple ballpoint pen.

Avenger sample
Another sample that never saw the light of day. By the time I finished these pages I was able to see the drawing flaws and never pursued my vision. I post these as a mile post marker and a nod to my past effort.
