After his wife died, he decided life's too short to be stuck in something that was unfulfilling, so he turned his attention to one of his first loves, comic books. Doub's crafted Dusk, a vampire universe featuring a woman who was abused in her life and the doormat to everyone, until she became a member of the secret society of vampires. She's offered her "freedom" from the group, but chooses to remain with them, because now she feels she's really "living." " |
