Comics should be about creating community. Without it, there are no comics.

Not to mention, without comics, we are just a motley crew of ugly duckings.

My favorite comics are: Son of the Gun; Jodorowsky and George Bess. Halo Jones, V for Vendetta; Alan Moore. IronWolf: Fires of the revolution.

A huge fan of Rod Steiger too. No Way To Treat A Lady, Fistful of Dynamite, In The Heat of The Night. Directors Sergio Leone and George Stevens.

Check ISSUU.COM, I think it will be comic creators new best friend. If you already have the PDF's for printing, throw them on ISSUU.com. It's my goal that the service can be utilized to build up readership.

The interface is beautiful, and it can be seamlessly embedded into your web page.

San Diego Comic Con '08 Aeroine giveaway.

It's my desire to at some point create something of a comics Roundtable or bullpen incorporating both writers and artists, suited to everyone's strengths.

I am also a giant opponent of Comics 2 Film companies and endeavors. Work hard like everyone else, and get into movies. Don't make comics the poor man's pitch center.
With that, I'm also an outspoken opponent of Platinum Studios and anything associated with them. Including Wowio. I've heard the guys in charge of Platnium speak, and I don't think they have a sensible bone in their body. Besides the news coming from creators on getting paid by Wowio since the transition.

It's about principle.

I went out and picked up this movie right after I read about the concept of the film in a magazine called 'ROCKET'. The concept appealed to me, just because of it's originality. I could see this as a comic that would work AND sell well. It's a shame that the director has not done many films after this. -matt
