My name is David Paul. I am a writer and a letterer. Studio D is my attempt to start a lettering company for comics and other businesses in need of lettering at VERY reasonable and negotiable rates.

I am a HUGE fan of Heavy Metal and I write METAL MADNESS at http://www.projectfanboy.com Check it out. I'm also the drummer for Jennifer Carol & Wild Blue, but that's not important right now. I have numerous publishing credits outside the field of comics (see below). While you're here have a look at my galleries and let me know what you think.

WRITING/AUTHOR AWARDS, CREDITS, ETC: I received an International Library of Poetry Award and was nominated for Poet of The Year by the International Society of Poets. In 2004 they gave me an Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Silver Award Cup. I was inducted as an International Poet of Merit and Honored Member of the Society and my book Naked Vitality has been nominated by the Literary Poet’s Guild for the Laureate’s Award.

New Balloons

I'm working on a new way of ballooning. I actually like the style of how it draws you in to want to read the text. I know many letterers will disagree and not like this. But what do you think?
