I draw pencil portraits from photos. I have illustrated some books.
I just found this site today, and although I don't generally work on comic books, I have liked them for a long time. I wish there was enough time in life to do all the art I want to do!

Pencil Portraits from Photos

I do these by commission. I have been doing this from home for about 6 years now. I also do book illustrations. My favorite medium is graphite pencil (I use Japanese animation pencils called Tombow Mono Homograph)

Pointillism, the art of laying down a buncha dots to create an image, requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT try to do this while eating M&Ms and drinking a Pepsi.
