Love 'Monster Mash,' Rafer! Hey, maybe we can package it with 'MonstraCity' for SPX? A two-for-one creature feature?

hey, matt

your graphic novel is going to be fumetti? it's so rarely done that it's really refreshing when one comes out.

the first part of it is, anyway. there are sections that won't be, but when i couldn't find an artist that was interested in illustrating it for me, i had to figure out another method.

turns out that photographers (and photoshop) are more reliable.

The D.C. Conspiracy is having it's monthly meeting in your neck of the woods at Dr. Dremo's today (Sunday) at 5:30, if you're interested. You can get more info on the group at www.dcconspiracy.com.

Cheers!

Hey, Jeff

Good to hear from you! I hear you folks in Santa Fe got a couple feet of snow a few days ago. Well, it gives a good excuse to stay inside and draw! (Unless you ski, of course!)

Yeah, plenty of snow. I don't know if it's the Alaska feeling or what, but I seem to be running on very little sleep lately, so the drawing has been running well into the night.

Just finished up the Reginald Squirrel Tale for those folks that ditched you for sunny New Mexico. Couriered it up to Monica and Bram in Santa Fe (I'm in Albuquerque) and it showed up 5 hours late because of the snow. Good thing I didn't try for regular mail. Our mailman just quit coming for 6 days. Neither sleet nor snow nor - no, wait, strike that. I mailed myself something recently from my own post office and it took almost two weeks to arrive.

How's the Conspiracy doing?

Pushing to get it to the printer by the end of the year. Updates as I have them. In the meantime, Death, Cold as Steel, a three-part series that takes place in the early days of the SQRL, should be done this week.

Scott,

You are the oldest-looking 29-year-old in comicdom! ;)

Waiting patiently for the new book! I need my dose of West!

It's a sweet book. JRod let me look at it a few weeks ago. The version I saw wasn't lettered so I can't speak for the stories, but the art throughout was outstanding. I imagine the stories are just as good. They HAVE to be!

Yep, I dig hockey most. Caps are having a decent season so far. In fact, they're the only local pro sports team worth talking about!

I bet a hockey comics/anthology would sell huge in Canada and not at all in the States, except for maybe Detroit.

Jason, I really dig the 24-hour comic. The world needs more hockey in comics!

Ahoy, Kevin! Good to see you about!
