Welcome to the Official Devil's Gate ComicSpace page! For those unfamiliar with the Devil's Gate, it is an illustrated science fiction story about the crew of the smuggling starship, the Devil's Gate. The comic focuses on the ship's captain, a brash young woman named Youmi Namora. The current storyline revolves around Youmi's attempt to smuggle a seemingly valuable piece of cargo to an extremely out of the way planet called Betelgeuse 42. It might just be the job of her career. That is if she can keep her crew from murdering each other long enough to get it there. Plus there's this little matter of a mysterious syndicate that's hot on their tail and seemingly desperate to get their hands on the cargo.

The Devil's Gate began as a full webcomic, but due to time constraints it's format was changed to that of an illustrated story in March 2008. The illustrations that are NOT the full story. Please go to the main Devil's Gate site to read the full story.

Stan - That would be me. I'm the artist and co-creator of the Devil's Gate, and I'll be the one mostly maintaining the devilsgate account on this awesome site.

Thwack - Thwack is my co-writer and the site designer of the Devil's Gate. He has a knack for science and adds a lot of credibility to the technology of the comic.
