Hey I'm almost finished with the last of the story submissions for Issue #1.

- The Dirt Page 1 & 2 are off getting colored while I'm working on the final page of the Dirt.

- A Captain Canuk Pin-up (Ad for Blue Kang) is in the works as well right now.

Denny Colt is providing the Back Cover & the credits page later this month.

All other Story Pages are done, just have some lettering to finish up and fill the final pages with a few more ads.

I believe I will be only ordering 1000 or more books in Black/White for the 1st printing, know that the B/W 1st print will have a color cover and greyscaled interior. I will order about 100 or more books in Full color as a Convention Special which will primarily be sold with the Convention Kit I am making up. But also know that the Convention Kit will definitely be costing more.

Here's my idea of what the Convention Kit will include:

All prices are subject to change depending on cost of production but for now I have setup my targeted prices.

After having login problems. I setup a Flat Rate Shipping option for now until I can resolve getting integrated with USPS shipping.

I just discovered why the USPS doesn't work....I didn't have the correct account from USPS. I should have it working in a few days after I get the account setup. I also tested out the Check/Money Order by mail option....it's working now with the flat rate shipping method. Setting up ecommerce is no easy task. But it's time well spent because it will make our online sales much easier to deal with saving me a lot of time and energy without it. This makes it much faster for me to make changes to what we are doing with the books for every issue. The software handles all the tracking too so that you can see where your order is at. It also prints out invoices for me to mail out. It's really in depth. Don't know how I went this far without ever setting up my own shopping cart....this is really usefull.

There's a lot of important stuff I've already accomplished this month. I 'm sending out this update until I can make an official announcement. Once I get the USPS shipping worked out, I will make the announcement that the Store is up and running and everyone can start placing orders. This is Proof that we are just around the corner from production. Speaking of production, I started Page #3 of the Dirt tonight. It's roughed out in Pencil already and looking very promising. I'm going to take a few extra days this week to put some extra effort into page #3 while Hawanja is already working on coloring page #1 as I write this.

I have a new logo in the works for Hyatt Art but I'm not happy with it so I may just be adding to the existing logo or just using the current one for Issue #1 and worry about the new logo for Issue #2 to save production time.

On another note, I am in contact with Brenner Printing and that's looking very promising. There's a strong possibility that I will be printing 1500 instead of the projected 1000 copies in B/W and still be getting some Full Color Convention Specials. I will be making the Convention Special Cover a Variant, since it will be a rare print run of 100. If I can keep the cost reasonable, I might get more then 100 in color. Along with that, I will be contacting Animeg's friend to see about our chances for real distribution. If anyone can help us get onto store shelves, please contact me.
