I am Diana, and this is my ComicSpace. This is my website: http://www.jinxville.com. (The site needs to be updated.) Please to be meeting you!

Right now, I'm drawing some things which I probably shouldn't be really specific about since they concern other people. But I'm also (very slowly) working on writing and drawing my first graphic novel Saving Halloween. You can see part of the comic on which it will be based on my website here. The final version will be 100 times better.

I've done work on comics for Vertigo and NASA. Yes, that NASA. I'm a cool cat.

Good hanging out with you yesterday.
Hope you liked the little Nightcrawler.
One-million thanks for the ink assist.
Hopefully we'll all get together again this Sunday.
Don't forget about the party.

hey Diana!

I was glancing around to see who's on ComicSpace these days and came across your work... your Halloween GN looks fantastic!

I don't know whether to be flattered or slightly offended by this comment, but either way, nice painting. I would totally commission one from you if I could.

Diana,

Lovely work. I'm very excited to see real live Memphis cartoonists popping up on Comicspace. I hope a bunch of us can get together sometime to do what cartoonists do: tell each other outrageous lies, and sing songs of India Ink, and plot against our imagined enemies.

Or, at least, support each other in the making of more and better comics.

Yes, we should definitely do this some time. I really should be more social, anyway.

Thanks for the add. I used to work for NASA myself, preparing slides and charts for the early shuttle missions. They put us in building 30, on the opposite side of Mission Control. Of course, that was before anyone figured out a computer could be used to generate that sort of stuff.

Hey there, cutie! When are you going to come back to snowcountry?

I'll move back when I can afford it. Won't be for a good while yet. I'll be visiting in the spring, though. I'll have to remember to e-mail you the dates.

Why, hello there Diana... So you're another Nightcrawler obbessive..? Yikes. Well, you obviously manage to survive with your affliction well enough to produce some cracking work, 'SH' looks blummin' great, and you've worked for Vertigo?! Get you..! Anyways, thanks a lot for the add and th' comment, and make sure you stay in touch, hokay..? ;)

That's an existence? I have to admit, at first glance, I didn't actually recognize it. Weird. ;)

Yoo hoo!

Hey, Diana! Howzit goin?

Dark Horse is courting it. They invited us to Portland to have a lunch and dinner with the editorial crew there to see what's what. What about your book? Are you publishing it yourself, or is there a publisher in line?

It was definitely Fallcon, as I was in Japan for Microcon. We should get together sometime. I'm gonna email you about something later.

Thanks for the add. Saving Halloween is really cool... Has Shelly at Vertigo seen this? And you say it's going to be 100x better? Where do I sign-up?

Congrats on the NASA gig too. Makes sense they're smart enough to see the potential of comics as an educational tool.

I just read the bits of Saving Halloween you have up. I really really like it. It reminds me a little of Electric Girl.
