I'm a Filipino indie comic book creator and writer/illustrator who has somehow been able to work full-time in the hectic world of Advertising AND still publish the occasional issue of Angel Ace and K.I.A..

I'm a member of the Alamat Comics Group, which has been working to keep Filipino indie comics alive since the mid-90s. I've also been involved in other Filipino comic projects like Siglo: Freedom, Siglo: Passion, Isaw Atbp., Hainaku!, Cherry Blossom High, Project HERO and Fresh!.

Here's a little fan art I did. It's Kai- not MY Kai, but a character from the upcoming PS3 game Heavenly Sword. She's a 'crossbow savant' and a pretty kooky but loveable girl. The game's out this September or October.

Here's a first look at Ninja Girl KO!, a story I am writing for the local manga anthology 'zine Mangaholix. It's all about a kid who gets his own ninja girl. Yeah, Belldandy in a dogi, but it should be fun. The art chores will be done by Kriss Sison, one of Manila's best local manga artists, so I am understandably giddy with excitment.

My ongoing project is KAI: Unkillable, the continuation of my femme-fatale action heroine Kai's adventures from K.I.A.. I'm aiming for an October 2007 release of this one-shot.

Here's a look at a Knight of the Rose, one of the enemy types Kai will be facing off against.
