The way comicspace is set up won't let me reply to your reply, so I'll just reply to my own comment...and try to avoid using "reply" that often in a sentence ever again :P . I'm actually new to the comic book scene. I've been writing more personal stories online for the past few years under a different pseudonym, and at one point an artist asked me to work with him on a comic to help him get some experience in drawing comics. It's because of working with him that I want to try launching an ongoing comic book series if I can find a publisher and an artist that can convey the intended tone and atmosphere (the style of the artist I mentioned wouldn't work well for my idea). I'm pretty new at it, so I'm green on expected format for scripts. I'm also a big video game fanatic, and often enjoy looking at them in terms of intellectual and artistic value. And that's about all I have to say for now :) .

As long as you are not currently earning your sole living from publishing your own comics, or are currently being paid to do a series...note currently...then we're likely fine with it. Barring that: Please note that Dimestore would LOVE to carry any books that you do print, and would be interested in setting up an article about your studio for Self Publisher! Magazine to help get the word out about your stuff.
