The Origin
Deep in the frozen cradle of an Antarctic wasteland, a team of scientists unearths one of the greatest archeological discoveries in the history of humankind. Entombed beneath eons of glacial ice are the fossilized remains of a creature that once existed only within the realm of scientific imagination. It is the Dinosaur Man – a unique and isolated species of dinosaur that somehow evolved into a form disturbingly similar to that of man himself. Now, unleashed upon the world, it will forever alter the landscape of scientific understanding.

Overwhelmed by the magnitude of their discovery, the elated scientists soon reach the controversial decision to produce a live clone of the enigmatic creature from the fossils’ well-preserved DNA. Little do they know, however, that their every move is being carefully watched…

After raising the creature to full maturity, the scientists – with visions of Pulitzers and untold fame dancing before their eyes – prepare to unveil their hitherto secret project to an unsuspecting world. But before they can bask in their much-deserved glory, a covert government strike force infiltrates their laboratory and seizes their prize creation right from under their noses.

The creature, codenamed Dinoman Project Alpha, is spirited away to a top-secret government facility just outside Washington, DC, where it is relentlessly tested and experimented on in the hopes that it can be transformed into an unstoppable super-soldier. Through extensive genetic manipulation, it is granted the gift of self-awareness; through careful instruction and education, it is taught to speak and to reason; through perilous experimentation with electro-magnetic fields, it is imbued with god-like powers – the ability to fly, to effortlessly deflect blows and bullets, to control and manipulate virtually anything with an electrical charge. But finally, and most importantly, it is granted a name, an identity – Adam.

Life, however, soon turns bleak and unbearable for Adam. He lives a lonely existence in a sterile government facility among callous bureaucrats and reticent scientists. When a chance opportunity for escape presents itself, Adam has no choice but to seize it.

Finally freed from his stifling prison – and the only home he’s ever known – Adam does the only logical thing someone in his situation could do – he evades his former captors by moving two hours away to the beautiful city of Philadelphia! There, he casts aside the identity of Adam and the former life of imprisonment it represents and decides to utilize his extraordinary powers to defend the innocent and eradicate the corrupting stain of evil from his new adopted home.

After all, he figured it was either that, or sell insurance.

And thus, Dinoman is born...
