My book Reading Comics: How Graphic Novels Work and What They Mean--essays about cartoonists, their work and their medium--will be published by Da Capo in May 2007. I also write about comics and pop music for a whole bunch of places, including the New York Times, Salon.com, The Believer, Blender, Rolling Stone, PW Comics Week and eMusic.com. And I do a weekly blog about 52 called 52 Pickup.
