Hi!

I'm just following up, since it's been about a week since our last communication. Hope all's well.

Ellen

Re: Your comment/offer

What is the overall quality of the raw material? If the writing level is high, I can usually read about 4-5 pages per hour. According to http://www.payscale.com/mypayscale.aspx?pid=2c635f
cb-33b1-4704-9628-b4e884fb1ae0, that would seem to work out to a rate of roughly $4 CDN per page.

Now, if the original material is poorly organized, and has spelling/grammar/syntax issues, or if I also need to fact-check, I can do this, but it's more time-consuming. We're looking at 2-3 pages per hour or about $7 CDN per hour. (Basing it on the average of $17.36 per hour for 2 years experience.)

My editing experience can probably best be summarized as:

1994-1996: The Real Estate Investor, Downsview, Ontario
Proofread advertising and news copy for real estate publication.

2005-2007: Story Editor: http://idlewilder.proboards54.com/index.cgi

Edited Batman (2005-2006) and Nightwing (2006-2007) stories for fanfiction site.

2006-2007 Freelance edited for several writers at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BLUDHAVEN/

References available on request.

Material can be emailed to me at estherdragonbat@yahoo.ca

Thanks for your consideration!

RE: New "Behind the Panels" Looking good! BTW, if you were serious about wanting comics, are there any titles in particular you'd like? I've got a lot of Bat-family (Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Birds of Prey) from the last decade or so.

Thanks for reading it - and glad you like it!

And if you're serious (shipping to Israel is not easy or cheap...) I'd take everything and anything I can get my hands on...

I can. Trade Paperbacks would probably hold up better. (And free some shelf space.) How can I get them to you?

Send me your e-mail by PM (don't want to post it here for all the haxorz to see...), we'll chat.

And you rock!
