"What is Edgar Allan Poo?"

"The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo" is a weekly webcomic on Drunk Duck which will be published in graphic novel format later this year.

"No--I mean what is Edgar Allan Poo?"

Edgar Allan Poo is the lead character in an all-ages fantasy story which takes place in the dream world of "Terra Somnium." The story encompasses the works of Edgar Allan Poe, lavishly brought to life by the breakthtaking art of newcomer Thomas Boatwright.
The story also includes several things that Poe loved, namely, Greek and Norse mythology and spooky places, tales and beings.

"So he's not Edgar Allan Poe's feces then? 'Cuz that's kind of icky."

Absolutely not! As the story progresses, readers will see the mystery of Edgar Allan Poo's identity unfold. He is definitely not literal poo.

"Okay... so what's the story about?"

"The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo" is an adventure which chronicles the epic journey of the enigmatic Edgar Allan Poo and his faithful guide Irving the rat through the surreal land of Terra Somnium. Toghether, they will be forced to battle mythical beasts, ancient gods, magical ravens, sorcerers, the undead, inclement weather and treacherous terrain to return Poo home from the land of dreams.

"Wow! That sounds great! Where can I read it?"
