Dylan Sisson - Artist

I live in San Francisco, where I draw and paint wall-eyed creatures with big teeth. My projects have ranged from comics, to award-winning animation, to fine art. www.dylansisson.com.

In 1994, I wrote and illustrated the infamous Filibusting Comics, published by Fantagraphics. This was a parody of Scott McCloud's tome, Understanding Comics. In 1995, Filibusting Comics was translated into Spanish to be featured in a comics convention held in Madrid.

In 1999, my animated short, Object Lesson, won "Best Computer Animation Award" at the Ani.mar film festival in Spain.

Currently, I work at Pixar Animation Studios as a technical 3D artist for the RenderMan group. I work as a fine artist, creating low brow art, and have had several shows on the west coast. Here are some examples of my current work:
