Hi Shane,
it's going well. I'm getting the work in and producing comics. I've a new comic out for the NY comic con around feb 23rd and I'm drawing an 8 page strip for a US comic called Phsycosis. More info will be posted on this fantastic site around that time.
When did you set up SCAR? My most recent Uk comic con was in Brighton, November 2005...I think.
Anyway speak soon Ed

Hi Ed,

Hey that's great news! It's about time all your hard work paid off.

Andy and I set up Scar Comics September 2005. It's been great fun and we're really proud of what we've achieved in such a small period of time.

Keep in touch, I'll look out for your bulletins on here too.

Shane

Cheers for the add - checked out the website link and there's lots of nice work to be found - You worked on Bulldog Nation? Interesting indeed, how'd that come about?

I've been in living in the Bronx for 6 months and before that I lived all around South London (I grew up in Croydon). About 6 years ago I decided that I wanted to create comics as a career so I started to draw and/or write for any comic that would give me an opportunity and Bulldog where allways looking for new talent. Their strips were never a dull draw and I ended up in 3 of their issues.

cool - I'm aware of their work through the Bristol convention, so that's why I mentioned it - hope some day I get to publish some of my own work...along with all the other wannabees of course ^__^

Still, interesting to know - what propted the move stateside though - money or personal reasons?

I'm married to a Puerto Rican who grew up in the Bronx. New York is the center of the English speaking comic industry and is a great city so i jumped at the chance to live out here.

Hi Ed; As appalling as it sounds, I probably will not be able to make it to the Feb Con, owing to another commitment.(My priorities are clearly a little out of whack), but I do have a table at the MoCCA Arts Fest in June. I'm not sure if we've at one of the HO12 Jams, my rate of attendance has, sadly, dwindled to a few times a year.(MUST! GET! OUT! MORE! OFTEN!) Will try to get to one of these CAG meetings, though. Probably in March.(And I'll definitely keep an eye out for your new book!)

Thanks for the add, Ed. Cool site design, even cooler art!

"gimmicky and stupid" is not necessarily a criticism.I'm jealous.
A Ramones t-shirt! Gorgeous.
Just noticed your with/have been with house of twelve.
We might have met. I've been to a couple of their meetings.

Yo!!!

Went to your site, love the classic look of your stuff. reminds me of the underground
artist known as 'Spain' who did 'Trashman' for Last Gasp Comics in a Wally Wood
style.

Happy New Year!!!
