Beth is one of the most insightful comics fans and/or scholars I have ever met. Many times we either go with our gut too much or over analyze but Beth has shown an ability actually pull something new out of the comics experience. I actually WANT to read comics after I read a Beth Davies article as opposed to emailing all my friends the link and saying WTF is this person thinking.

And she's a baseball fanatic too and knows her sh!t. That's as good as finding $50 in your pants pocket on laundry day.
