My name is Robert Tidwell. I write a regular blog about my general interests in music, religion, people and comics on my myspace. Please add me if you read it!

I love music. I love music so much that when I was younger I used to turn my radio dial to rest between stations and listen to the music try to make sense of itself between the collage of hip hop, rock, country, pop and mariachi.

I'm working on my first comic right now called Love Song For Polyhymnia with a fellow named Renzo Podesta who is incredibly talented(see faves). I'm proud of what I'm working on because it's a serious subject and the story is reflection of my spiritual and social beliefs.

I've also started and stopped and sat around staring at another story called Ogre, drawn by Renzo. It's about being middle eastern in post 9/11 usa. Unfortunately it sat around and I no longer feel it is as urgent. It will see light some day.

I've done a short story called The Guilty Will Be Punished, it's available on drunk duck. That was drawn by Gerardo Gonzolez. It's a reply to all the punisher comics I read as a kid.

My ideas come from the world around me and blend magic, mythology, spirituality and fantasy into metaphors about the world we live in. I want to tell stories about people in situations using pictures to help strike a cord in the hearts of all the people around me.

Oh, and no I didn't just put feminist on here to meet girls. Among other things, yes, I really am a feminist.
