Well, I'm here. I brought the beer.
I'd really love to write something witty and unique here, but let's face it, I have too much work to do! :)
By the way, I hate those emoticon things. I also hate rude people, willfully ignorant people, pina collatas and getting caught in the rain.
I work in comic books, in fact make a living doing them. I letter a bunch, I write and draw some as well. People ask me how I got into the business and how I continue to get work. Well, I have two words for you--sexual favors.
That's the key to making it in the comic industry. THAT or working really hard and putting all your effort into doing good work. Also, shameless self-promotion is key as well.
Now, please go out and pick up a copy of Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius today!

Shameless self-promotion? I would never employ such measures to get people to read Our Time in Eden, a fresh new comic from the mind of Gibson Twist and the pen of Ben Steeves, coming soon to fine comic shops everywhere. |

Hey Chris! Merry X-mas to you. With that name, I'm assuming you are Greek? We have a couple of taramosalata munchers in our group. Good people! Swing by the Lounge some time, all the pitta you can eat! |

Hey, Chris---
Good to be your friend. Love your lettering from way when.... Had to imitate all Marvel letterers at the time I started working in the bullpen in 1992: Jim Novac, Janice Chieng, Phil Felix,Bill Oakly and many others. You were one of my favorite letterers to "ghost". I also notice you've been doing way more than lettering!! Cheers!
Hope all is well with ya. Happy Holidays! Sergio |

I guess I say thanks for the add and then something really fannish right? Well my kids love Franklin Richards when I let them read it. I usually hog it. It's fun sharing comics with my kids especially when they have different tastes. Franklin Richards is one thing that they all enjoy and I think you for that. |

Whenever I letter my comics I think of you, as I regard you as my personal letting GOD. Of course, those thoughts are sincere hopes that I will not be struck down for my horrible handwriting. I beg your forgiveness!! m(_)m
And yes, I too miss Desperate Times. Awesome ending, tho! |

Back to Franklin filling voids... it is nice to see a light-heared take on Franklin showing his brainy and zany sides, if that makes sense. Having quit caffeine a few months ago, my brain is still in a bit of denial! |

Hey, I just finished reading a comic with one of your Franklin Richards stories in it (FF: A Death in the Family, if you were curious), then hopped online to find my friends request approved. Uncanny timing, no?
Thanks for the add, Chris! Oh, and one more thing....bring back Desperate Times!
