Hello to Everybody !

I’m empro. I come from Poland, a weird country in Europe, where in 2012 probably everything will be different than it is now. Some nice people gave our country an opportunity to organize the European Championships in soccer (or football – depends where Ya are from ;)).
Anyway, as we can’t actually play soccer (or football) very well, we have also got a very small comics market. That is sad, ‘cause we’ve got here really good artists, but there are not enough special opportunities to show their works or publish as many comics, as they would like to. But Polish comics are very good ! As well as Polish vodka is !

I have been drawing comics since I remember, but for real (that means I’ve some income from this kind of work) I have started about six years ago. That was work for children’s magazine called DD Reporter and MixKomiks published in Poland by XXL Media. But I think I didn’t like drawing illustrations containing wicked, cosmic friends of children so I quited (right now I returned to those titles, but this time I’ve got more freedom in drawing and designing stuff, and this looks more fun than in the past). After that I started my work for some other magazines. Including almost all of Polish hip-hop magazines. There was a Hip-Hop.pl where my comic was about “Byslaw and Ziomowit”, two village people who wanted to be really fine gangstaz in a bigg city. Then I started a Szatek-the Son of Devil series for StrefaHipHop. But there were just a few episodes of it. And then I was working for eRaport.com doing a “Devil’s Gift”. After those comics I’ve made some comics works for krkrap.com and still working on FleXXip:Where the real cheaters gone? series for “MagazynHipHop” DosDedos (with Chang in Danger series) and for Laif (with Ziombie series). I also won a MTV and Metropol’s comic contest and realized comic series based on the freak characters form MTV’s JackAss series for Mertopol Poland. And I have also made in those times some illustrates for a “LolMagazine”, made cover for one issue of Eurostudent magazine and short comics or illutrations for a few others, like Nowa Fantastyka, BravoGirl, .psd and Relaz.o2, Youandme.pl (with eMC comics series, and some kind of comics-paragraph game – it is the first in Poland that kind of game), Pro-Arte

and many other companies all over the world. And some stuff promoting hip-hop artist (yup, hip-hop again) in Poland and New York for example.
I have also done and sometimes still doing some illustrations for children’s stuff, especially for Warsaw Music Editions like this or this, and for covers of music CDs also for children for “Polskie Nagrania”.
During those few years of working as a drawer I have also been working for some commercial agencies like Brand Storm or Brand Republic on campaign for companies like, for example Levi’s Strauss, Johnny Walker, Telekomunikacja Polska or Knorr.
My comics were published in anthologies like “Wszyskto co chielibyscie wiedziec o pilce” Everything you would like to know anout football (by Kultura Gniewu), and I have also publihed emproFactor and emproFactor:deLuxe (that was an anthology of my short comics) and previously mentioned eMC game (by Youandme.com).
Right know I am trying to show my works to people all over the world. I’ve started to work with www.WeAreComics.com and looking forward to make something for another US comics companies. I also find fun making projects for t-shirts, and soon my project will be on a-x, BoyCott and CroppTown t-shirts lines.
I’ve also made a graphic design for the title sequence for series Kookly for Comedy Central Poland recently.
