Enter The Hero is comic book series written by Michael Heitkemper and drawn by Simon Butler. Enter The Hero has no release date set in stone, but should be released by early 2009. There's been a tragedy. And astonishing to everyone, out of no where has appeared a super hero that saved the day. No one knows who he is... Where he came from... Or what he's capable of. All they can do is call him, The Hero.
One year later, the Hero still protects the innocent from harm. Little does the Hero know, his secrets are all about to come out.
If you think you know who or what the Hero is after the first issue, think again.

I actually live not far outside of Louisville in Corydon, IN. I'm in the city now and then for work or what not. Don't recall if we've ever spoke, but I believe we were both reviewers at spidermancrawlspace.com a couple years back.
By the way, I really enjoyed your Internal Affairs strip. Ever think about starting that back up? |

Ah HA! The Crawl Space is where I know you from! Ironically, I never knew you were so close to me.
As for IA, I have thought about it a few times, but I've been ultimately unsuccessful at finding a new artist. Ted and I have talked about turning it into a graphic novel (or series of GNs more likely, I had a LOT of story for that), but we've both had our focus elsewhere for awhile. I'm working on a couple of comic pitches at the moment and trying to keep up with the Spider-Man: Crawl Space script series, so my hands are pretty full! Nice to hear you dug it, though, thanks! |

I wish. But we seem to be stuck in a rut on getting all the art finished up for the first series. (Day jobs and such) Hopefully next year. |
