| Bulletin: | MediaConnection unveiled the first stage in its redesigned web presence today. With more photos and a brand new design, MediaConnection took the first step in its 2009 remake. “MediaConnection has been around in various forms since 1990, so its important to periodically revitalize ourselves,” said MediaConnection Publisher Eric Lopkin. “The new design is just the first stage in some very exciting changes.” Included in those changes are new contributors, new blogs, and a new video feature, all of which will roll out over the next few weeks. MediaConnection covers pop culture with a focus on movies, television, comic books, books, toys and games. The mission of MediaConnection is to spotlight quality material and bring independent work to the attention of our readers. Launched in 1990 as a newsletter distributed through online bulletin board systems, Compuserve, GEnie, and America Online, MediaConnection grew to include a print magazine in 1995 and The MediaConnection Pop Culture Expo in 1998. |
