Next Sunday, March 8th I'll be giving a talk at the Nashville Artist Guild meeting.

The Nashville Artist Guild is primarily comprised of artists breaking into their respective fields, and is basically a networking group to help each other figure out the basics of working professionally as an artist.

The talk is titled "Comic Book Art and Marketing Your Artwork".

In it I'll go over a bit of comics history, and what I've done in the comics field (to introduce myself) and what comics artists and self-publishers have bumped into when it comes to marketing their work. The main idea is that by sharing my comics art POV we'd then (hopefully!) spark some ideas and maybe even a bit of a discussion about (general) art marketing and what we can do to help promote ourselves and our work.

The meeting is at 2:30 pm, Sunday March 8th, at the Vine Street Church over on West End Avenue and Vine Court in Nashville, TN. The meeting is held in the Vine Street Counseling offices, located in the building behind the main sanctuary. Park in the back.
