I don't really get what this place has that a hundred other places don't have. I mean--I'm at comic book resourses and www.imagecomics.com and myspace...

What's the big deal here...?

Probably the only thing this place has that those other hundred places don't is these big red "Coming Soon!" signs ...

You just wait until we have the power to post more than a single 132 x 132 pixel picture here ...

Hi Erik; first off, thanks for the add.

For me, the point of ComicSpace is to create a wider and more focused online comics community than MySpace--with, on MySpace, comics folks being just a few of very many people; and the rate people are flocking to ComicSpace, I think it's more of a magnet for the comics community than MySpace is.

Beyond that, same as MySpace: pimping your wares, networking, making friends, getting sites from girls who for inexplicable reasons, and for no personal gain, would really like you to see them get naked in their bedroom... (mind's drifting into other areas now) ANYWAY: though in its infancy right now, hopefully ComicSpace will develop into a very strong tool for networking the comics community.

Less F@$%&KING pop ups. Also want to be writers, artist who want to strut their penicls. It's more then a simple forum of threads that jack-wads can flame your ideas.

ITS SPACE MAN, PER SPACE!

I'm not sure what the point is--but I'll play along.

If I only had one thin dime for each time I said that very thing, I'd be starting fires with 100 dollar bills.

The point? I think, if it's anything like Myspace (which I've only observed...), it's to accumulate as many 'Friends' as possible to make up for some pseudo-psychological lingering junior high memories of being unpopular.

Or it's about girls. Or something. But, I don't really understand them either.
