Well, I will be totally honest when I say I am not a regular purveyer of sites like this. I do have a myspace page but I can count on the toes on my left foot (of which I am missing 3) how many times I have looked at it. So why comicspace then? Well, hopefully it will be void of the myspace annoyances I despise and it seems like there are some fantastic people hanging here. Like you, I heard about comicspace from Warren Ellis. I work in video/dvd production full time here in chilly Minneapolis and I am working currently on a variety of comic short stories that I hope to submit as an anthology to the smaller comic book companies. I am ALWAYS interested in finding other artists and writers to collaberate with. Feel free to go to my site: http://www.web.mac.com/halcyonseven to check out some of my work. I have both my comic art and my VFX reels on there. Feel free to email me: Click here to send email

Boy Zero
Boy Zero is trying to figure out life. You know, the normal things: girls, superpowers, who framed him for blowing up a South American country. So things are complicated right now. Oh, and the entire Imperials team is after him. So that sucks...

It's definitely a great place to vacation to; I like living here, but I would definitely like to come back again someday soon as a tourist. Right now I'm in a city called Okayama (not as large as a lot of other main cities, but it's pretty big), it's between Osaka and Hiroshima on the shinkansen (bullet train) line.
Where are you guys thinking about going? I'd highly reccomend picking up the JR Rail Pass before coming (saves you so much money on travel and such), and Kyoto, Arashiyama, and Hiroshima are some exceptionally beautiful places. I don't think you'd get up that way, but Sado Island (Niigata prefecture) is simply gorgeous, and virtually untouched by industry and the modern age. I spent three weeks there once and would love to go back. |

Well I am more into Industrial than metal, although I like some of what you mentioned. I am always looking for good music and so I thought I would ask what you were listening to. Japan huh? The wife and I are thinking about a vacation over there sometime this year if timing and money work out... What part of Japan are you in? |

Hey, Epsy. Well, let's see...there's the classics, like Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, and Rainbow; the newer, like In Flames, Shadows Fall (probably my favorite band), Disturbed, Dragonforce, and HORSE; and the obscure--Grimfist, Dissipate (know several members of the band), and Kaliban.
How about you? I'm always on the prowl for new metal to get into! |
