I didn't know about the backlog, but what can I say, procrastination comes with the territory, LOL.

Better late than never I say!

I'll send you a link when I have it up.

Rick:)

Dude, congrats on your "on the lot" entry. I'm going to be sending mine next week. The film's been finished for a few months now, but I've been slacking on the 35-40 second intro. Figures.

Good Luck!!!

Hey, I'd love to see it!! You know the deadline is Feb 16th and there is a three week backlog from the time you upload to the time they put it online, right? Anyway, best of luck man, Comikers Represent!

I saw it man!! I re-read the show and tell story, and then the new one. I reaaally like your post-production (so to speak) effects. The dot-matrix for coloring, and other textures here and there. Awesome man, its a good visual package, keep it coming!

Marco!!!

Both episodes of "Illegal Aliens from URAZZ" are hysterically funny!
I love (and not in any particular order) the opening music credits, the animation, the script, the commentary on you You Tube culture. Well done...you are Hector are a dream team!

BTW I just updated my site and your HTML instructions worked like a charm. Thank you-Thank you-Thank you-Thank you-Thank you!!

Your fan,
Damian

Sorry, wasn't clear. Yes that one is still down but on my page here on comicspace, you can click the last link where I've mirrored the site on another server. Or just go to http://www.hallucinonia.com/donniegoth.html

Bummer my friend, http://donniegoth.com/ still gave me a network error page. You should check out http://www.servage.net, it has hosted my site more or less painlessly since forever, and its cheapo :)

Happy New Year (a little bit late)! Folks have been talking up Grittie in the Webcartoonists Choice Awards discussion. I went back and looked at the very first, non-animated one when someone provided a link to it. Are the other non-animated ones still around to read? To compare with the new ones? (If you've already mentioned that, I'll blame my fogginess on being up all night... work work work, never done.)

Wow.... really? *marco double checks calendar to make sure its not April 1st* wow, thats amazing! I'll go have a look! And well, I still all the files and could provide a link for comparison if they want one... oooh, this makes my day Clio!! P.S. I plan to nominate SPQR Blues for several categories, muahaha!

[ Posted by MrColinP on Jan 2nd, 2007 2:28 AM ]...

Hey! Thanks for the comments. I added the entire state of Florida the other day. There's a lot!
I just watched the first episode of your... Comic? Animated series? Slideshow? Elaborate screensaver? The fact that I can't define what you're doing is a great and exciting thing. I think in twenty years there will be a name for it, but right now the trails have not been stamped down enough to categorize stuff like this.
But just as important as that is the fact that you have a solid story to tell, and are taking your time revealing it in an interesting and intriguing way. That's the only way to hook people and I'm hooked! Can't wait to continue. I feel like if Guillermo del Toro saw this he'd start pre-production right away! So congrats and keep up the obviously hard work!

Your strip kind of reminds me of a friend of mines, but his is much wilder and rougher (i.e. incoherent and sloppy... in the best possible way!) Make sure you read the whole thing, some of the later pages have animation! But his storytelling style it like yours: Manic and original... and a little subconscious...

Check him out:
Cats and Icecream

Oh man, if I shook Del Toro's hand, I would never again wash... ever!! you picked my favorite director, and he's mexican like me!

Anyway, I'm so glad you liked the video.... I... hmm.. I think the name is "still animation". No wait.. that's just silly. I'll just call it video :) Glad you like it all the same! If you survive the spaghetti plot till episode .. oh, 8 or 9, things clear up a bit and it becomes slightly more linear. For now :)

I read the Cats and Icecream.. wow............... its a wild ride alright! And in gratefulness I shall now share my favorite webcomic ever: action figure graveyard Enjoy!! Really! I worship this comic :)

Hehe, well, once upon a time my comic was in traditional page form, now thing -is- a video, I've moved completely into that media.. for now :) But yeah.. I get a lot more feedback to my videos than I ever did to my traditional comics, so yeah... I guess it has advantages :)

[ Posted by Sarahtdl on Dec 26th, 2006 5:20 PM ]...

I plan to check it out as soon as my desktop at home is back up and running, and I'll let you know what I think. It sounds wonderful!

I wish I could take credit for all the laughs over at Yirmumah, but only the last six or seven strips are mine. Before that, it's all DJ (Yirmumah creator).

Thanks for reading!

Any friend of Hector is a friend of mine! I'm gonna sit down and watch yer videos later today.

We have to stop meeting like this dude, lol, hello.

[ Posted by 10kd on Dec 6th, 2006 11:05 PM ]...

It's nice to see you here in this new wilderness. I suppose we're all supposed to start building cabins, planting crops, and creating a civilisation. Earlier today I discovered fire and almost invented the wheel, so that's a start.

I feel like we're on opposite ends of the spectrum--me with the pen and the ink and the pieces of paper, and you converting the comic into fully developed productions. I hope this new place to network will bring us both some new readers :)
