DANDELION back on track!

Bulletin:

Okay, anybody who's been waiting to see DANDELION in print has endured a loooooong wait. And so has the patient publisher, who signed this project quite a while ago.

And so have I. :( It's definitely been a grueling lesson in patience.

Most recently, the original penciler, Sergio Apodaca, was unable to finish the final couple of chapters due to an increased load at school and work. Definitely understandable, but also sad. He's put so much into this book and I wanted him to be able to finish it. The publisher and I then recruited a replacement penciler, but a prolonged illness kept him from getting started.

The good news is, Sergio's back! His schedule has freed up now and he's very passionate about finishing what he's started. So hopefully that means this graphic novel will finally be hitting bookshelves sometime soon!

Here's a lil' sketch Sergio did as he warmed up to get started:
